About Loretta Dorman

Loretta Dorman, Founder and CEO of Wealth Baristas, LLC is passionate about helping her clients discover new opportunities for increasing their financial well being. Whether they are starting up a small business or running a household, her clients know that they can always turn to her for sound advice on how to plan and manage their finances.

Loretta has over 20 years of experience in accounting and tax planning, with businesses as well as individuals. As a Financial Manager for a Fortune 500 Company, she was responsible for a 145 million dollar annual budget. She made spending recommendations based on her financial forecast and implemented an expense reporting system to track over 250 million dollars in project spending. As an independent consultant, she managed multiple projects to improve her clients’ financial reporting capabilities.

Loretta was an Honorarium Professor at the University of Denver Business School, where she taught an MBA class focused on analyzing financial statements. She founded Pioneer Tax Services, LLC in 1996, a personal tax preparation business in Colorado.

Loretta holds a BS in Management and Accounting from Long Island University and a Masters Degree in Marketing from Adelphi University in New York.

Loretta decided to make Colorado her home in 1995 while vacationing at a dude ranch on the Western slope and falling in love with the state. She and her family live in Boulder, Colorado, where she is very active in the local community.

She is a member of the Boulder Chamber of Commerce, where she served as an Ambassador to new members and the 2009 Chairperson for the Business Women’s Leadership Group. Loretta participated as a member of a Business Victory Circle in Boulder. Currently she is President of Boulder BNI Chapter of Business Networking International and Treasurer and Board of Directors Member for the Boulder Area Rental Housing Association.
